INTRUST Bank's Positive Pay service helps protect against losses due to check fraud by performing a daily reconcilement of issued checks against those presented for payment. Any checks that do not match are rejected, and INTRUST will provide daily notification of the exceptions via the Internet. This notification will include an image of the item as well as the reason the check was identified as an exception. You will then have the ability to make pay/return decisions on each exception item.

Bank Holiday Observances

INTRUST Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. Those rules include a temporary increase in coverage from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2013. INTRUST Health Savings accounts are covered by the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules, but are not eligible for the additional coverage.
