A foreign draft is a check denominated in a foreign currency that is payable at the counters of a foreign bank. INTRUST maintains accounts in every major currency and many minor ones. The drafts we issue are readily honored by presentation to the bank named thereon, and they are a convenient way to effect payment to a person or company whose bank account information is not known.

INTRUST Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules. Those rules include a temporary increase in coverage from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through December 31, 2013. INTRUST Health Savings accounts are covered by the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules, but are not eligible for the additional coverage.
